Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American author and designer who has received numerous awards for her works. She advocates the rights of animals. Her films are Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). Growing up in an artistic family in New York she wished to be a part of the art. Her first job was as a photo assistant then turned to modeling and acting. Her name was highlighted in her two first films and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer. MacGraw quickly became famous following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was nominated for the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three years, MacGraw was ranked as the number one female box-office participant in the entire world. Her handprints and signatures were recorded at Grauman's Chinese Theater.
