Zoe-perry
Perry was born to actor Laurie Metcalf, and Jeff Perry. The character Jackie Harris was played by her mother in each of the two episodes she appeared on Roseanne. Her parents, however, were not keen to let her perform until she turned an adult fearing the effect of stress. Perry shy and shy for acting in high school, started to act in theater classes at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new acquaintances. Perry was a graduate of Boston University moved in New York in search of TV roles. Perry was able to land small roles on TV shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. But, her home-sickness led her to California to find theater work. Perry was a part of Broadway with her mother in The Other Place with her mother in 2013. She performed with her father Kevin McKidd and Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winning drama Anna Christie in the year 2015 at the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, West Los Angeles. Perry appeared in nine episodes of the ABC crime thriller The Family in 2016. Her father played her on The ABC drama Scandal. She was also cast in her role on the CBS show The Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon as a version younger Mary Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's mother. Despite the fact that she has a connection with her family to the character she got the role via an audition.
