Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in the United States for more than forty years. Most famously, she is known for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). Her acting career began as a stage artist during the 1950s beginning by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. In the 1950s she performed as a stage actor in a few Broadway productions before gaining into national fame with the release of Li'l Abner' in 1957. The album was released by her too late for Tina that following year. Louise's first foray into Hollywood was as Griselda on God's Little Acre, which was a 1958 film. It received wide praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's pupil. In 1964, she signed with CBS and played Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour continued to successfully play between Broadway and Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character opposed her perceived image as the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently she's also been the most sought-after director for popular television series such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex in Ontario on the 28th August 1965, her family relocated to Toronto at the age of three. Her childhood was spent in Toronto and through her teenage years. Her home was in Vancouver after she was selected for the role of Samantha Carter.
